There are nearly 2,000 official shoe box collection sites around the country which can each collect thousands of prayerfully-packed gifts in the single week of National Collection. More than 50,000 volunteers in 2006 made this awesome feat possible.
Each collection site is completely organized and supported by faithful volunteers who provide a hospitable, convenient location in the community for donors to bring their gifts. Volunteers at these sites are responsible for the careful packaging and transportation of those precious gifts to one of the six Processing Centers across the country.
Opportunities to volunteer in any of these locations are available to those who wish to share the love of Christ with the many generous donors who pack shoe box gifts. Responsibilities can include cheerfully greeting donors, carefully packaging the gifts to ensure their safe arrival at the Processing Center, assisting donors in unloading gifts from their vehicles, tracking valuable ministry data, and much more.
If this sounds like an opportunity that you, your church, or group may enjoy, please go to our Volunteer Interest Form and let us know.
